If you'd like to stay in Barú, avoid staying right by the beach as it can be expensive and not very pleasant. Instead, we recommend Sabai Beach Hotel, Barugrande, Sofitel Baru or Hotel las Islas Barú. Staying in Cartagena and enjoying a day trip to the islands is a fantastic option too!
